The Senior Pastor of the Yoido Full Gospel Church, who succeeded Dr. Yonggi Cho, has served as the General Superintendent of the Assemblies of God of Korea Yoido General Council since 2009. Lee also has served as the Co-President of Christian Council of Korea. He received Th.M. in Systematic Theology from Yonsei University, Seoul, Korea and M.A. and Ph.D. in Philosophy of Religion from Temple University, Pennsylvania, USA.
